To expand my cybersecurity knowledge, I used Kali Linux to practice ethical hacking techniques within a safe, controlled virtual lab environment. I worked with tools such as Nmap to perform network scans, identify connected devices, detect open ports, and analyse running services.

I explored scanning, reconnaissance, and basic exploitation techniques to understand common system vulnerabilities in a secure test environment. This project provided hands-on experience with penetration testing tools, network mapping, and vulnerability analysis, while also developing my skills in setting up secure testing environments, interpreting scan results, and assessing real-world cybersecurity risks.

To enhance my hands-on cybersecurity skills, I used the M5 Shark tool to ethically test and analyze various digital and wireless systems in a controlled environment.

I worked with RFID, NFC, infrared, sub-GHz radio, USB, and GPIO interfaces to understand device communication and identify potential vulnerabilities in access control systems, IoT devices, and embedded hardware.

This project gave me valuable experience in penetration testing and hardware analysis, strengthening my ability to assess and improve security in real-world physical and wireless technologies.
